After several days of deliberation on who will be running mate for Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, in the next general election, the party leaders this afternoon has announced Prof Yemi Osinbajo as his running mate in 2015 presidential election, which is scheduled for February 14, 2015.
Former Lagos State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justices Prof Yemi Osinbajo, won the Vice-President ticket ahead of strong nominees such as Raji Fashola, Rotimi Amaechi and Adams Oshiomole.
The party stick to their stand of not feeding Muslim/Muslim ticket in the next general election. Prof Yemi Osinbajo, is Christian and one of pastor at The Redeemer Christian Church of God.
His candidate-ship was endorse by former Lagos Governor and APC national party leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
River State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, was reported to lead the Buhari’s Campaign as Director-General.
