It was a great atmosphere for attendees who all comes out in masses to network, showcase their ideas and also to be inspired by success story people who have made it in their various sectors.
On Thursday August 11th 2016, Legendary Nigeria pop star D’banj alongside with comedy thespians ed other creative industry leaders to inspire a new younger generation of entrepreneurs at the maiden edition of OSMD Network’s Youth Empowerment Summit in Ibadan.
The bi-annual event theme was tagged “What is in your Hand: A Strategic Tool ” and it was held at the Conference Hall of Mauve 21, Ibadan, which features keynote speakers, Tunji Olugbodi, an integrated marketing communications expert, and Ubong King, a security services business mogul.
Other speakers present at the summit include advertising guru Steve Babaeko, filmmaker Chris Ihidero, PR consultant and publisher of NET Ayeni Adekunle, blogger and social media marketing expert Tosin Ajibade, events planner consultant Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, make-up artist Anita Brows and others.
The founder of OSMD Network and convener of the youth summit Abisoye Fagade says,
“Through the presence and kind words of all speakers, we hope that we were able to motivate a number of young minds in attendance as was our goal with the summit. I am personally excited at the success of the maiden edition and I can hardly wait for the subsequent ones and the number of lives still to be touched.”
MC at the summit, D’banj remarked,
