Former president Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, made his first appearance in public yesterday at PDP campaign rally in Bayelsa-State.
Former president Jonathan, was caught in the act of begging electorates to vote for his party candidate in Bayelsa-State, in other to save his own political reputation and that of his wife Dame Patience Jonathan, from being ridiculed by the opposition party APC in the forthcoming guber election in the state.
The incumbent governor of the state Governor Seriaki Dickson , is aiming to re-run for the second time in office and Mr Jonathan has plead with citizens of the state to vote for him other to save his name and that of his wife, Patience, from being mocked by the new ruling party.
“PDP is an Ijaw party and as such, let’s give Dickson and PDP a chance for a second term. My reputation and that of my wife will be ridiculed if the opposition takes over Bayelsa.”
He made this call yesterday at PDP campaign rally for the declaration of incumbent Seriaki Dickson , as the party flag bearer in the state.
