At the 10th edition of Nigerian Telecom Awards 2014, on Saturday 20th 2014, in Lagos, the founder of telecommunication giant Globacom Limited Dr Mike Adenuga, won the best ” Telecom Investor of the Decade” for his role of investment in telecommunication business in Nigeria.
His company Glo Mobile and Glo 1 , also won in various categories, such as ” Best Telecom Operator of the Year- Data” , ”Most Innovative Telecom Operator of the Year” , and ” Best Submarine Company of the Year”.
The award ceremony have the presence of former Ogun State Governor Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Chairman, Board of Directors of the Nigerian Telecom Awards, Chief Alex Akinyele and the Vice Chairman.
In the latest figure for telecommunication providers in Nigeria, Globacom Limited was 2nd.
