Legendary Nigerian Nollywood actress Rachel Oniga is dead, according to reports that are going viral on social media. Rachel was hailed from Eku in Delta State, and she was born on 23 May 1957, in Ebutte Metta, Lagos State.
The report had it that Rachel Oniga dies at age 64, from covid-19 complications on Friday, 30th of July. Although, she was seen days ago in Mowe, Ogun State for a movie shooting.
Oniga is known as an actress and movie producer who has featured in hundreds of movies including classics and successful projects such as “Sango”, “The Only Nigerian Girl”, “Died Wretched”, “Doctor Bello”, “The Royal Hotel Hibiscus” and many more.
She was survived by three children and several grandchildren.
